Issue # 70 The Misc Adventures Digest
A photo dump from the end of spring and reflections on being halfway through the year...
Hello there. Happy June! It feels strange to be half way through the year already, when it really feels like it’s only just beginning.
It is sobering to look back at our list of hopes and dreams posted at the start of the New Year and reflect on how we’re doing so far. It is not going well.
But, with another 6 months of the year to go there is still time to turn this ship around and all hope is not lost.
It is wood stove cold here in the north this week, despite it being meteorological summer. But there have been warm sunny days and moments where life feels good, eased by the longer days and the sights and sounds of Nature working at full tilt.
Highlights include, looking after a farm for a few days for our friends in Eskdale, swimming in chilly pools and lakes, taking some time to focus on woodworking and catching up with visiting friends and family. In the absence of words here is a photo dump of our small adventures over the last couple of weeks.
Well, we hope spring has been treating you kindly and summer holds the promise of adventures to come whether big or small. Have you taken time to reflect back on the first half of the year? How’s it shaping up so far?
With warm wishes,
Andrew, Emma and Benji

Beautiful photos
Its been a tough year for us, too. Lots of moderate disasters and some looming potential bigger ones. We're navigating it and I'm lucky for still having had the chance to adventure. Your photos, as always, are excellent!
