Issue #49 The Misc Adventures Digest
A photographic account of a perfect, snow filled winter's day
There are no words to describe the joy a snowy landscape brings me, so I shall not endeavour to try. The snow this weekend messed up our plans quite spectacularly, but a small price to pay for such exquisite beauty. I would happily cancel all plans for a winter of snow and ice. What follows is a pictorial account of a perfect winter’s day here in the mountains and valleys around our home. Enjoy!
Well, today the snow has been replaced by wind, rain and mild temperatures. Heavy rain combined with rapidly melting snow has made the roads rage like rivers. Black and white and glacial blues have been washed away and colour is slowly flooding back into the landscape. We are sad to see the back of the snow, but are thankful to live somewhere that looks so beautiful when wintry weather takes hold. We are just at the beginning of winter, so perhaps, just maybe, there will be further snow-filled adventures ahead…
That’s all from us this week!
Warmest wishes,
Andrew, Emma and Benji

PS: With thanks to Fjällräven for the very toasty Keb Agile Winter Trousers!
Oh my goodness, that looks like so much fun (except for the polar plunge 😂. I bet the air was so clean and crisp! Your photos are incredible what an incredible journey. Where is home?
Your photos alone make my paid subscription worthwhile!! What a beautiful place you live in. I agree that I'd give up almost any plans to just hang out in the snow with my dog. Winter is my jam.
Thank you for these awesome pics!
