Dear friends! As of today we’re excited to announce some new offerings for those generous enough to support us financially. It’s been quite the journey here on Substack and we have grown a lot since our humble beginnings, both in numbers and as writers (or people who write sometimes) for which we are deeply grateful. Our journey is far from over.
We get a lot of joy from sharing stories, knowledge and lessons learned from Nature. We also believe (although it’s taken us some time to realise) that doing this can have immense value for others. Often we receive amazing messages from folks telling us that the words we have written, a workshop we’ve hosted or a talk we have given has prompted a change towards a life lived closer to Nature. We are humble people, and struggle with asking for what we think we are worth, but deep down we believe that our work has value and that we can, and should, be able to make a living from doing what we love.
Starting from this week (on the autumnal equinox) paid subscribers will get our weekly digests and fortnightly Nature Happenings posts, but also a beautiful quarterly seasonal recipe guide, available to view on Substack or as a downloadable pdf. In addition we will also be making video deep dives into some of the things in Nature that we find mind-blowing, either because of the interactions they form, their utility or their beauty. For those who want to go the extra step, Founding Members will also get an exclusive Miscellaneous Adventures T-shirt designed by us. There will likely be a few more perks, like access to guest posts from our network of skilled and wise friends and longer essays by us.
So, if you value our stories or insights, or if you want to help us spread the word far and wide that the key to a life well lived is one close to Nature, or you just want to support us, then please do consider becoming a paid subscriber.
We know what it feels like to have to miss out on things because of your financial situation, so if you would like these added extras but can’t stretch your budget that far then please just email us and we’re sure can work something out.
Another brilliant way of helping us out is simply by sharing our Substack with your friends and family.
It should go without saying that we appreciate all our subscribers and we’re so thankful to you for following along on our journey!
With warmest wishes from the three of us,
Andrew, Emma and Benji
