Sometimes it starts with an act of the will (for me, making myself go for a walk when I’d rather not) and I’m never disappointed 💚 Thank you for sharing your thoughts and feelings. Always a good and inspiring read.

Thank you, Rachel, much appreciated. I find it hard sometimes to explain my connection with Nature so I'm glad to hear the description resonated with you.

Nicely said – I'm not a fan of Halloween so much, but the autumn can give a great sense of warmth and dread in equal measure. Like you suggest, you can't force that feeling, you just have to keep getting out, keep cutting logs, and it comes back without me trying I find. Thank you for sharing though

Thanks Kevin - appreciate the comment. Funnily enough, I have been out in the woods doing just that today. The autumn light was glorious and although I didn't quite get that perfect moment of clarity, I feel a lot lighter for it.

I've been wrestling with hardships of my own that took away from the Halloween spirit this year. Your perspective on being out in nature is very helpful. Thanks!
