Very interesting and inspiring reading (again). Describing different aspects of connection to nature made me realise that although I don’t ‘know’ a great deal I certainly am very awe struck by it when I encounter moments outdoors. I now stop and take more time to allow my senses to experience and soak in the full effects it can have on my heart and soul. Thanks to all three of you for demonstrating and living mindfully for the sake if Mother Nature. 💚
Sorry not to join the Chat but caught up in ‘tasks’. Just a quick response to your thoughts which I really embrace. Language is so important and can get in the way; not naming but experiencing is so important. I try always to ask permission from nature to be there as I walk in the woods or beach. I try also to hold a beginners mind open to whatever comes. We as mammals are nature and we inter-are with all nature. Hope to join your next Chat and thank you for your dispatches.
Thanks Stuart, this is a lovely and insightful comment. We very much appreciate your input. I like the idea of having a beginner's mind; as beginners we're so enthusiastic and open minded and I think we tend to lose that somewhere along the way. Great book choices too - Love The Living Mountain but neither of us has read the other two so we'll check them out. Cheers, Andrew & Emma
