That's a lovely verse - I've heard about Wordsworth rowing his boat out onto the lake in the moonlight but have not read his description yet. I'll have to look up the whole thing. I'd love to try canoeing by moonlight - something to do once the evenings draw in again perhaps.
Glad to hear No Mow May is being adhered to down there - it's amazing what pops up if given the chance. It's a mixed bag here, some verges are lovely and full of wildflowers and ferns, but others are being strimmed into oblivion by tidiness fanatics with nothing better to do, which breaks my heart to see.
