Always good to be reminded of the importance of slowing down. I remember back in the ‘70’s when in academia there was an emphasis on speed reading, I came across a book called ‘How To Read Slowly’ by James Sire. It was a refreshing revelation and an affirmation for me to not worry about how quickly I read but how carefully. I love slow walking too. I used to teach teachers how to walk slowly and mindfully - something very important in the frenetic environment of schools these days. Lovely writing once again 🙏🏻
I enjoyed this soo much! It is really hard for me to slow down even with the kids I tend to lead the pack like a puppy excited to just move. This is a great reminder to slow down
Your beautiful writing helped me to really sense your peace and joy. A slow solo adventure is now very appealing! Thank you Andrew😌

Really enjoyed this. We humans really do need more of these ‘slow road to noticing’ moments. Thank you for reminding us.
