I love the idea of planting a tree for hope, it’s gentle but meaningful. Thank you for the words.

It was a joy to sit out in the spring sunshine for morning coffee on Sunday morning but today it is freezing cold again and grey 😕 I’m craving more sunshine too. The birds are very active and look like they are gearing up for nest building. They have finally started to visit our hanging feeder. The Robin was first to brave a visit, it’s quite close to the living room window so they can probably see us moving around, but Robin’s are notoriously bold. Blue and Great Tits have followed suit and it’s a joy to see them flit in and out with aerial grace. Happy to subscribe and glad for the warm fuzzy feeling 😉☺️

We have been teased with bouts of sunshine bringing warmth and hopefully a taste of things to come. Spring definitely brings a sense of hope and delight in the joy of Natures new beginnings. 💚💛

It seems like spring happened all within one week here! The cherry tree in my yard bloomed and the next thing I knew the leaves were popping on all of the trees, the weeds are growing, the bees are out, and pollen is EVERYWHERE!!

It's at this time of year, the slow and bleak gradient from winter to spring I'm at my most impatient. Bring on the warmth and dry times. I'm itching to get stuck into my hives. The bees are brining in lots of pollen and the queens are laying. It's just a little too cold and damp to justify bothering them.
