Looking back on the many wildlife encounters we had in our decade in the woods. Owls, bats, deer, hornets, stoats, life, death and everything in between.
Great to hear these special encounters. I finally got to see the grass snakes 😊 but sadly not the adders. Bats swooping overhead while we sat and drank red wine will be an enduring memory and watching the badgers on the bank of the stream.
Incredible recounted stories you two. Your bloody tawny owls were the noisiest I've ever heard. I'll always remember the cuckoo who sat in that rotten tree by the drive and the wild bees in the woods.
