So sorry that April has turned heel and come after you this year, what a beast she is.
May to the rescue though, warmer days, shorter nights and some sunshine to warm the bones and make the ground under foot a bit firmer - in all the ways. Sending love. X
Thank you for the transparency. I also know what it feels like to be truly connected to Nature and I'm missing its spark. The heightened senses and deep intuition. I'm in the southern hemisphere so it's starting to get colder and harder to get out the door and into your nature. Your writing & photos help!
Thanks Jada, I appreciate the comment and kind words. Wishing you the best for the winter ahead - hope you manage to find that connection despite the darker days.
The freedom of a bike… I love the idea of a pedal powered nugget of optimism, just wonderful. I hope May brings all three of you sunshine and space to breath into the stunning place that you live.
I'm really hoping things turn better for you guys with the changing of the seasons! I don't have any solid answers, but Stoic philosophy has helped me a lot through tough times. Seneca, Marcus Aurelius, Epictetus, and more contemporary, Victor Frankl. There can be beauty and fulfillment within hardship, just by bearing it while remaining a good person.
Sounds like a pedal powered nugget of optimism is just what you need right now. Lots of love and deepest respect for your way of being and sharing despite the vulnerability it forces
Thanks dude! Yes, that would be good. Need a few extra bits of kit I think and some extra strength in my legs first though. Thank you for the bike too, Benji loves it.

Thank you Nicole! What a beast indeed. May has already been an improvement so here's hoping...

Thanks Erik as always! I definitely agree it's possible to find beauty and fulfilment within hardship. I will do some further reading, thanks!
